Kintrae

Content, media and legal contacts

How Kintrae handles contributed media, illegal-content notices, copyright and image-right concerns.

Media licence and consent

  • Uploaders must own the media or have permission to license it. They grant Kintrae a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to review, crop, resize, re-encode, publish, attribute, and remove accepted media for operating the directory.
  • Identifiable people must have agreed to publication. Images of children require consent from a parent or legal guardian and must not reveal sensitive location or safety information.
  • Kintrae may withhold or remove disputed, unsafe, misleading, or privacy-invasive media while a curator assesses it. Attribution requests should be included with the upload or sent through the notice form.

Notice and action

Anyone may report a precise item without an account. Include the exact URL, why you believe it is illegal or violates image/copyright rights, and a working email. Kintrae acknowledges the report with a reference, assesses sufficiently precise notices, records a reasoned decision, and communicates an outcome where required. Kintrae does not promise general monitoring.

Points of contact

Use the notice form for user notices, copyright, and image-right requests. Public authorities should use the controller contact published in Kintrae’s legal identity notice and identify the legal authority, scope, and deadline of the request.

Kintrae’s DSA classification, micro/small-enterprise exemptions, Article 9 basis, and Portuguese supervisory contacts remain subject to Portuguese counsel confirmation before public launch.
